Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes around the LA area, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with legal and company standards
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper securing of cargo for transit
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including checking tyres, brakes, lights, and fluid levels
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with the traffic team regarding delivery times and any issues encountered during transit
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver experience in similar roles
- Valid driving license suitable for operating class 1 vehicles
- Demonstrated ability to drive safely over long distances and in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving

Hours are 8:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday.
Occasional Saturday overtime is available.
20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
Inexperienced drivers may be considered depending on age and points for insurances purposes.
We currently have days, nights, trampers, haulage and multi drop so their is opportunity's to move into the role you want potentially. Currently we are recruiting for multi drop.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.25-£15.50 per hour
