Summary
To provide efficient and professional administrative support to the Customer Service team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, enquiries and departmental activities. Acting as a key point of contact for internal departments, you will coordinate information, manage order administration, and maintain accurate records to support the smooth flow of operations. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong working relationships across the business to ensure customer requirements and business deadlines are consistently achieved.
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service coordination or office support role or a degree (or equivalent qualification) in Business management or related discipline.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues across multiple departments.
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience of order processing or administration within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience using ERP/MRP or other business management systems.
- Knowledge of production planning, scheduling or supply chain processes.
- Understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience liaising with suppliers, couriers or logistics providers.
