Solar PV Electrician
Location: South Wales (Cardiff-based company)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
JLE Selections are recruiting on behalf of one of our established clients for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established renewable energy company delivering high-quality Solar PV and Battery Storage installations across Wales and Cambridge.
The role will involve travelling to various sites, with occasional overnight stays required. When staying away, all hotel accommodation and food expenses are fully covered by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission and test Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
- Carry out electrical installation work to the highest standards.
- Undertake fault finding, maintenance and remedial works when required.
- Complete all electrical testing, certification and installation paperwork.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety legislation.
- Work closely with installation teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
- Travel to sites across Wales and Cambridge as required.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
- Solar PV installation qualification.
- Battery Storage qualification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience installing Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
- Excellent fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
