Little Inspirations in Newport has an exciting opportunity for a Section Leader to support the running of their pre-school room.
We are looking for a Level 3 CACHE qualified individual who will have the opportunity to undertake further childcare qualifications if not already held (CCLD level 4/5).
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring individual to lead the section and maintain the high standards of care expected within the nursery. The individual should:
- Have the relevant early years qualification and experience (This room provides formal education provision and we are looking for someone with experience to join the team.)
- Have experience of leading others or coaching
- Maintain a positive outlook
- Bring high energy and take on a solutions driven approach to challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
- Managing and maintaining staff ratios alongside Nursery Managers
- Delivering high quality observations, assessments and planning
- Getting the best from the team, providing regular constructive feedback
- Promote and role-model safeguarding procedures and welfare of the children
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with parents.
Requires an Enhanced DBS prior to commencing the role.
