As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our friendly and supportive office team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong finance administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring financial processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
As our Finance Administrator, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including:
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Raising invoices for Local Authorities, Continuing Healthcare (CHC), private clients and other funding bodies.
- Managing accounts receivable and ensuring invoices are submitted within required timescales.
- Carrying out credit control, following up outstanding payments professionally and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Processing supplier invoices and preparing payments.
- Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Supporting month-end finance processes.
- Assisting with finance reports and administrative tasks.
- Liaising with care managers, commissioners, clients and external stakeholders regarding financial queries.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role.
- Has experience processing payroll.
- Has experience invoicing Local Authorities, CHC or within the health and social care sector (desirable but not essential).
- Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Is confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Has experience using accounting software (Xero, Sage or similar is advantageous).
- Has excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Can prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
