Job Summary
3 DAY WEEK. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Petrol Fourcourt Manager to oversee daily operations at our petrol station. Only working 3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9-5). Possible to add 2 mores days wrok via working a shift on the forecourt. This would pay more monies over advertized amount. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth store functions. This role involves supervising staff, managing sales and merchandising, and maintaining organisational efficiency to optimise business performance.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the petrol station team, ensuring high standards of customer service and safety compliance.
- Manage daily operations, including stock control, merchandising, and cash handling procedures.
- Oversee sales targets, implement promotional activities, and optimise retail performance.
- Organise staff rotas, monitor attendance, and ensure effective team management.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for customers.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Conduct regular staff training sessions on safety procedures, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within retail or petrol station environments, including supervising teams and managing sales operations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team efficiently.
- Experience in merchandising, stock control, and administrative duties.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of retail management systems and basic financial procedures.
- Organisational skills combined with professional phone etiquette for dealing with customers and suppliers alike.
