Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our Installation Team team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in Installation of Internal Wall Insulation systems . This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for joinery to contribute to diverse projects, including both local Authority housing programmes and private properties
Responsibilities
- Carry out both First Fix and finishing joinery works in both occupied and void properties
- Install Thermal Insulation Dry Lining systems, along with high quality finishings.
- Ensure compliance with both Health and Safety protocols, including safe use of tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during all phases of work.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times during the execution of duties.Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers.
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and grinders.
- Knowledge of Drywall and Thermal Insulation techniques and materials is desirable.
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with construction painting, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or joinery will be considered an asset. Pay: £19.00-£22.00 per hour
