Class 2 HGV Driver – Multi-Drop / Flatbed Bin Delivery Driver
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Start Time: 4:00am, Monday to Friday (overtime available)
Vehicle: Commercial Flatbed Truck
Routes: Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire – Multi-Drop
We are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Multi-Drop Driver to join our team, operating a commercial flatbed truck from our St Albans location.
This is a busy, hands-on role involving multiple daily drops and collections across Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for delivering Palladin and bulky waste bins to client addresses and swapping out broken and well-used units for new ones.
The Role
- Driving a Class 2 commercial flatbed truck (18t)
- Completing multi-drop deliveries and collections throughout Hertfordshire
- Delivering Palladin and bulky waste bins to client addresses
- Swapping worn or damaged bins for new units
- Planning and managing your own daily routes
- Ensuring multiple deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and on time
- Safely securing loads and carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Liaising professionally with clients and site contacts
- Maintaining high standards of safety, vehicle care and customer service
Requirements
- Full Class 2 HGV Licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- Multi-drop driving experience preferred
- Route planning experience essential
- Experience operating a commercial flatbed truck preferred
- Good knowledge of Hertfordshire and surrounding areas
- Reliable, responsible and punctual
- Able to work independently and confidently alone
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Physically capable of carrying out the duties of the role
- Strong commitment to health & safety

The successful candidate will be reliable, responsible and self-motivated, with proven experience in multi-drop driving and route planning.
You will be trusted to manage your own daily workload, plan efficient routes and complete multiple bin deliveries and exchanges safely and professionally.
