The Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Cable & Equipment Technician to support our operations. This role involves preparing, testing, repairing, and assembling cables and distribution boxes for customer hire and sales. You will play a key part in ensuring all equipment meets our high standards before leaving the depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, prepare, and pack cables and distribution equipment for hire and sales
- Test cables and electrical equipment for safety and performance
- Repair and assemble single-phase and three-phase cables
- Carry out stock testing and equipment checks
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Full UK driving licence or reliable transport to commute daily (essential)
Desirable (not essential):
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Basic electrical knowledge
Training & Progression:
Full training will be provided. There are excellent opportunities to progress within the company into other departments, including mechanical and electrical roles.
