Job description
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a production and quality focused all round Print Finisher capable of working in a high volume and demanding environment to join a leading printer in Central Bedforshire. The role requires a meticulous, hard-working individual with a keen eye for detail. You will show an admirable work ethic and be committed to delivering each job to the highest of standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Main role would be to operate a Polar Guillotine, Stahl and Horizon Folders, Muller Martini Stitching line, Heidelberg Cylinders, folder gluing line and various other finishing equipment. Training in other areas will be provided to the suitable candidate.
Complete all necessary quality control checks.
Adhere to all production procedures.
Keep to the required KPI's.
Use equipment to produce a high standard of work at optimum output.
Ensure all operator maintenance is carried out on a regular basis.
Assist in ensuring that the site is in a tidy condition and operates in accordance with all health and safety requirements.
In the event of little or no work in finishing, the willingness to help in any other area of the business.
Skills Required:
Must have experience operating most of the print finishing equipment above as training will be provided on other equipment for the right individual.
Be technical and able to troubleshoot effectively.
Should have a keen eye for quality and a flexible approach to their work.
Have strong communication skills.
Work to your own initiative and forward plan.
Shifts:
Late shift - 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday.
Monday to Thursday - 2pm - 10pm
Friday 11.30am - 5pm
With flexibility and overtime required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
