Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will support daily financial operations, assist with bookkeeping, and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities
- Assist with processing invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and efficiently
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Maintain organised financial records and filing systems
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash accounts regularly
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required
- Support the finance team with administrative tasks such as data entry and document management
- Respond to internal and external financial queries promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
- Requirements
- Must have proven experience using Xero
- Proven experience or strong interest in finance, accounting, or related fields
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is desirable
- Strong numerical ability and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A recognised qualification in finance, accounting, or business studies is advantageous but not essential
Pay: £24,420.00-£40,922.14 per year
