Overview
We are seeking a Fully Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be adept at using both hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot various electrical issues efficiently. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions to rectify them promptly.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any materials used and time taken for each task.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Skills
- A valid NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations is required
- 18th Edition
- AM2, 2391 Inspection & Testing - preferred but not mandatory
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
- Demonstrated electrical experience, including knowledge of wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
