We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Double Glazing Unit Sealer specialising in hotmelt application to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly sealing double glazed units using hotmelt adhesives, ensuring high-quality standards and precision in every product. Your expertise will contribute to delivering durable, energy-efficient windows that meet customer expectations and industry regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about craftsmanship and quality control within the construction and manufacturing sectors. having another staff member feeding you units then taping up.
Responsibilities
- Apply hotmelt adhesive accurately to seal double glazing units, ensuring a secure and airtight fit
- Inspect finished units for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Collaborate with glass feeder, for taping and quality controlling of units.
- Perform routine maintenance on sealing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Proven experience in double glazing unit sealing, particularly with hotmelt adhesives
- Excellent attention to detail to identify defects or issues during the sealing process.
