Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hairdressing, customer service, and store management. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. Your expertise in barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application will be highly valued as you assist clients in achieving their desired looks.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair styling services including cutting, colouring, balayage and treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Perform barbering services with precision and attention to detail
- Offer eyelash extension applications and makeup services as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on hair care products and services
- Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience
- Mentor junior stylists and assist with training new team members
- Manage front desk operations including appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and handling payments
- Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business and client loyalty
Requirements
- Must have unless 1 year of experience in cutting, colouring, balayage and treatments.
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with relevant qualifications and certifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and recommendations
- Experience in store management is an advantage
- Knowledge of barbering techniques is preferred
- Familiarity with eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable
- Ability to upsell services while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction
- A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on current trends
