Duties
- Travel to customer locations to perform tyre fitting, replacement, and repair services efficiently and professionally
- Remove and replace tyres using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper fitment and safety standards are met
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on tyres, including balancing and inflation adjustments
- Assist customers by explaining tyre options, maintenance advice, and safety tips to enhance their driving experience
- Lift heavy tyres safely using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury and ensure quality work
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions for each job
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicle supplies are well-maintained and ready for daily use
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle tyres, wheels, and related components
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
- Experience using power tools for tyre removal and installation tasks
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on tyres and related vehicle parts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Capable of heavy lifting safely when handling tyres or equipment during mobile service calls
- Good problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately
