Start Time: Arrive at the yard between 5:30am and 6:00am, with arrival on site for 8:00am.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team.
The Role
This is a driving role only. There is no labouring or scaffolding work on site. Your responsibility is to safely transport scaffolding materials to site, arrive for 8:00am, and remove the load straps ready for the scaffolders to unload before moving on to your next job.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating HGV Class 1 flatbed vehicles in accordance with all legal and company regulations.
- Arriving at the yard between 5:30am and 6:00am each weekday.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety and roadworthiness checks before departure.
- Checking that the pre-loaded vehicle is secure and safe for transport.
- Delivering scaffolding materials safely and ensuring arrival on site for 8:00am.
- Removing the load straps on arrival so the scaffolding team can unload the vehicle.
- Communicating with the transport team regarding schedules or any issues encountered during your route.
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
- Complying with all health and safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A clean driving record.
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Flatbed experience is desirable.
- Good understanding of load security and road safety regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
