Sowerbys Holiday Cottages Property Advisor – based in Burnham Market
Due to continued expansion Sowerbys Holiday Cottages have a vacancy for a new team member to work in both our Burnham Market and Wells-next-the-Sea offices. This role would suit someone who has experience dealing with high-end customers in a customer facing role, with confidence to handle customer complaints, together with excellent administrative and organisational skills.
This is an exciting and varied full-time position involving all aspects of the management of our portfolio of 300 holiday cottages by:
· Taking telephone bookings and advising on suitable properties
· Liaising with guests staying to resolve any maintenance and house-keeping issues
· Working with our maintenance team and local tradesmen to ensure all necessary works are carried out as required with feedback to owners
· Resolving any customer complaint promptly in a professional manner
· Processing and taking action on guest feedback forms
· Operating our agency software booking system to process bookings
· Undertaking regular visits (including inspections) of our cottages
-Co-ordinating new homeowner onboarding
-Pro-active discussions with owners to maximise bookings
Candidates considered for this important role should have:
· A confident, friendly and approachable personality with ability to keep calm under pressure
· Previous experience handling customer complaints in person
· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
· Good common sense and practical skills
· Ability and flexibility to work well in a small team
· Excellent attention to detail
· Computer skills to operate agency software
· Clean driving license
· Local knowledge to make recommendations for dining, days out etc.
This is a full-time position working normal office hours (9am to 5pm) for 5 days per week, including 1 in 2 Saturdays and some Bank Holidays.
