RICARDO'S Cellar is an independent drinks merchant by day and a wine bar by night. We specialise in wine, beer and cigars and offer an array of services to our customers including the option to sit and enjoy their drinks in-store or in our outdoor seating area, tastings and private catered events.
We are looking for someone friendly and versatile who is comfortable assisting customers with in-store purchases and providing table service with a smile. This role requires someone energetic and with a positive attitude who is used to being on their feet in a fast paced environment. Prior knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and cigars is encouraged but not required. Availability on busy nights is key.
Responsibilities include:
-Table service (waiting/waitressing)
-Bar work (making/serving drinks)
-Back of house (washing glasses/plates, clearing tables, sweeping etc.)
-Serving retail customers
-Restocking shelves and fridges
-Receiving deliveries of beer/wine and putting stock on shelves and in fridges
-Assisting on event days in store and at other locations (rugby days/stalls/markets/tastings etc)
Shifts are every Friday night and either Saturday or Sunday. Availability on (most) Twickenham rugby and event days is key. By law applicants MUST BE 18 years or older as all staff are expected to be able to serve alcohol to customers.
Our opening hours are 10am-11:45pm and later for event nights.
We need people who are available throughout the year, please do not apply for seasonal or temporary work.
Pay and hours have potential to increase based on individual's performance at work, following 3 months of training. Applicants aged 18-20 will start on minimum wage 2026 at £10.85 per hour. The advertised sum assumes the applicant is over 21 and has prior experience in hospitality.
