An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated person who has a vision and a passion for working with an outward looking Church and Community Centre.
Key Responsibilities:

Research the needs of the local community with a view to leading and developing both community and faith-based initiatives.

Lead and support intergenerational activities.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain relevant records.

To supervise and co-ordinate volunteers.

Assist with the general administration associated with the Corps programme, ensuring that the paperwork is promptly and correctly dealt with and accurate records maintained.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

Knowledge of The Salvation Army.

Experience of managing staff and volunteers, including recruitment of volunteers.

They are a practising Christian.

Ability to prioritise, organise and manage your own workload to meet objectives.

Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and are able to develop good working relationships with colleagues, programme participants with compassion.
This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian and will be in sympathy with the doctrines of, and supportive of, the purposes and the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
