Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and ensure prompt service to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Handle cash register operations, process payments accurately, and provide correct change
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when restocking is required
- Uphold food safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Prior experience as a Barista or in serving roles is highly preferred to ensure confidence in beverage preparation and customer interaction
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising quality
- Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and managing transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask effectively in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus for assisting with light kitchen duties
