Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team!
We are running a bar at Stansted House this weekend and require an additional bartender for Saturday the 8th August.
We have more work opportunities in Hampshire through August and September if this opportunity goes well for somebody.
Drink training will be given on site prior to the shift starting. Some previous bar work experience is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately, following recipes and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and ensure compliance with alcohol laws.
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while providing attentive service to all patrons.
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles, food safety standards, and responsible serving practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising service quality.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with guests and team members.
- A friendly attitude with a passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences.
- Must be at least 18 years old and hold any necessary certifications related to serving alcohol as required by local laws.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
