Tesla is looking for a Paint Technician to work on one of the most progressive, innovative vehicle brands
in the world. The Paint Technician is responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs to vehicle
bodywork, ensuring all work meets our manufacturer standards and customer expectations.
What You'll Do-
Learn and understand Tesla systems and processes

Have a comprehensive understanding of industry EHS requirements

Understand Body Repair processes
-
Be able to identify different substrates utilised in vehicle production

Undertake the relevant preparation on vehicle substrates within the refinish process

Identify paint defects and root causes
-
Perform cosmetic repairs to steel, aluminium and plastic components
-
Apply panel sealers and stone guard protection on relevant areas
-
Application of primers, surfacers, single stage basecoats and clear coats
-
Hold a clear understanding of colour fundamentals and be able to mix recipes to required accuracies

Possess the ability to develop and have the willingness to grow within the role and industry

Work closely with peers to maintain standards and consistency with day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop

Perform other related duties as assigned by Location Management

Previous experience as a Bodyshop Technician ideally 3 yrs+

Ability to learn in a fast-paced progressive environment

A clear understanding of health & safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environment

Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully. Fluent in [local language] and English.

Required to hold a valid Driver’s license
