Job Summary

Duties
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other data analysis tools to uncover trends and patterns.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization platforms to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable data solutions.
- Manage projects related to data collection, storage, processing, and reporting within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Assist in database design and maintenance using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and VBA to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using Bash scripts or VBA macros.
- Create detailed documentation of data workflows, system architecture diagrams in Visio, and project management plans to support ongoing operations.
Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools including Tableau and Power BI.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as R and Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks.
- Familiarity with database design principles and best practices for efficient data storage.
- Experience with project management methodologies to oversee multiple initiatives from inception through completion.
- Ability to perform comprehensive business analysis by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and recommending solutions.
- Skilled in using SDLC frameworks to manage project lifecycles effectively.
- Competence in creating visual representations of processes using Visio.
- Data analysis skills complemented by critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell) for automation purposes.
- Knowledge of VBA for automating tasks within Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: £25,420.00-£62,814.49 per year
