Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Self Employed Massage Therapist to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality massage therapy services to clients, helping them relax, recover, and improve their overall wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced therapists who enjoy working independently within a supportive community.
The hours are Tuesdays 6-8.30pm and Sundays 9-5pm
Duties
- Provide personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, including techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or aromatherapy massage
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Consult with clients to understand their specific concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Manage your own appointment schedule and ensure timely service delivery
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences for future reference
- Promote wellness practices and recommend self-care routines to enhance client results
- Stay informed about industry best practices and new massage techniques to continually improve your skills
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a massage therapist with relevant certifications or licenses in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pregnancy Massage
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatments
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and high standards of care
- Flexibility to accommodate client appointment times, including evenings or weekends if needed
- A genuine passion for promoting health, relaxation, and overall wellbeing
If you are also trained in Myofascial release, sports and Lympatic drainage, that is a big bonus.
