Job description
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly with senior management to fully understand job requirements
- Building studwork, boxings, floorings, claddings, fitting bespoke kitchens
- Full scope of carpentry work undertaken for both 1st and 2nd fix
- Inspect places and conduct repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as carpenter
- Excellent hand dexterity with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with all team members and clients alike
- Can do attitude towards tasks
- Able to make quick decisions under own initiative with an appreciation for commercial consequences
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
