We are looking for a reliable and experienced Dispatch/ Yard Forklift Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and move products and materials across our dispatch and yard areas. You will play an important role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload goods.
- Move products and materials to the correct storage and dispatch areas.
- Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Prepare and check orders ready for dispatch.
- Support yard, warehouse, and production operations as required.
- Complete daily checks, records, and paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Valid driving licence
- Valid forklift licence/certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, organised, and a good team player.
