360 EXCAVATOR DRIVER REQUIRED – EXETER
Venom Contractors are a local subcontractor based in Devon, providing groundworks and construction services across the South West.
We are currently looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Driver with strong residential site experience to join our team on a project in Exeter.
This role is working on a busy residential development, so we need someone who is confident operating around groundworkers, existing services, plots and other trades.
The role will include:
- Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently on a residential development
- Excavating foundations and plot works
- Drainage and service trenches
- Reduced level digs and general muck shifting
- Backfilling and grading
- Working around live and existing services
- Loading dumpers and moving materials around site
- Assisting with roads, sewers and external works
- Working closely with groundworkers and site management
- Carrying out daily machine checks and maintaining the machine
- Maintaining a high standard of health & safety at all times
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket
- Valid CSCS card
- Proven residential/new-build housing site experience is essential
- Strong experience within groundworks
- Confident working in tighter areas and around other trades
- Good understanding of site levels, drainage and services
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Good communication with groundworkers and site management
Good rates of pay and ongoing work available for the right person.
We're looking for someone experienced who can get on the machine and work confidently from day one.
