Job Title: Self-Employed Electrician
Location: Barrow-in-Furness and surrounding areas
Fenton’s Electrical are looking for a reliable self-employed electrician to support a growing workload across domestic and commercial projects.
We have ongoing subcontract work available and are looking for someone who can work independently, maintain a high standard of workmanship, and fit in well with the existing team.
Most work is carried out within the Barrow-in-Furness, Ulverston and South Lakes area, with some work undertaken in Kendal and surrounding areas.
Typical work includes:
- Domestic rewires• Consumer unit upgrades• HMO projects• Commercial installation work• Remedial works• General electrical installations
You may be working independently, alongside other electricians, or supporting apprentices when required.
Requirements (Essential)
- Qualified electrician with relevant electrical qualifications• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations• Own tools and transport• Full UK driving licence• Able to work independently and as part of a team• Reliable and professional approach to work
Beneficial but Not Essential
- Inspection and testing experience• EICR experience• Own testing equipment• Experience working alongside apprentices

Pay
£25.00 - £30.00 per hour depending on experience
