Duties
- Assist with general site maintenance, including cleaning, tidying, and organizing work areas to promote a safe environment
- Support the delivery and collection of materials, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Help with loading and unloading supplies or equipment as directed by supervisors
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or hazards on site
- Maintain accurate records of tasks completed, materials used, and any incidents or issues encountered
- Support team members with various manual tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
- Ensure all activities comply with site-specific safety regulations and procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in manual labour or construction-related roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid DBS clearance is required for this position, demonstrating a clean criminal record suitable for working with vulnerable groups or sensitive environments
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
