The Role
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organised Care Home Manager to lead our service. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the home, ensuring high‑quality care, regulatory compliance, and a positive working environment for staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, visible leadership to staff and promote a positive, inclusive culture.
- Ensure the home meets all CQC Fundamental Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and person‑centred documentation.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, rotas, and ongoing staff development.
- Maintain excellent relationships with residents, families, professionals, and the wider community.
- Ensure safe medication management, safeguarding practices, and clinical governance.
- Lead quality assurance processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy effectively.
- Promote a homely, safe, and engaging environment for residents living with dementia.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- An experienced Deputy Manager or Manager within a care home setting.
- Knowledgeable in dementia care and best practice approaches.
- Confident in leading teams, managing performance, and supporting staff development.
- Skilled in compliance, quality assurance, and CQC expectations.
- Compassionate, approachable, and committed to person‑centred care.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards it).
