Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our Independent family run 3 surgery dental practice. We have a part time role available. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the Dentist and Dental Therapists during various procedures. This position requires good communication skills, organisational abilities, and good use of IT systems. Experience on Dentally software not required as full training will be given.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Provide high-quality patient care by preparing patients for treatments and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using our dental software Dentally.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and aftercare.
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory of dental supplies.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications.
- Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a dental practice.
