About You
You will be able to work within the organisation’s working hours/pattern between the hours of 8am to 4pm on a 5-day basis.
Required to attend college as required and complete coursework in a timely manner as part of the apprenticeship scheme. Prepared to work towards an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Horticulture (NVQ Level 2).
You will be Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Maths grade 4-9.

About the Department
The University of Warwick consists of three adjacent sites including Central campus, Gibbet Hill campus and Westwood campus. The Gardens team manage over 715 acres of plant collections including herbaceous borders, tree collections, newly landscaped areas, woodlands, and lakes.
During the apprenticeship, you will be working in an award-winning landscape on a range of exciting soft landscaping projects. You will work alongside the team, helping them to maintain and develop the grounds and gardens of the University campus.
We provide a comprehensive training scheme where you will have mentors to support you along the way and if you put in the hard work, we will help you achieve your apprenticeship with flying colours.
We offer a two-year apprenticeship starting in September 2026. The training will be a mixture of online sessions with regular visits to college. Any required travel to college will be covered by the University of Warwick.
