Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery
- Serve drinks at the bar or tables with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling of food and beverages
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues with a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members during service peaks by sharing responsibilities seamlessly
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately while maintaining accountability
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a focus on guest services
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a lively setting
- Excellent communication skills to engage with guests confidently and courteously
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and transactions
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for supporting food prep tasks
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest enjoyment and revenue
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
