GetFix Ltd is looking for an Accounts Administrator to support our UK and EU accounts, as well as assisting with fleet administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day UK and EU finance administration, including supplier and subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, expenses, payments, bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support sales invoicing, client applications, credit control and VAT returns, ensuring transactions are accurate, compliant and completed within required deadlines across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Service Teams, suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve invoice, payment and purchase order queries and ensure financial processes run smoothly.
- Assist with month-end and general accounting activities, including payment runs, supplier records, credit notes, financial analysis and ad-hoc finance administration.
- Support the administration of worker postings across applicable EU/EMEA regions, ensuring required documentation, renewals and compliance requirements are maintained and liaising with HR and relevant authorities where required.
- Provide fleet administration support, managing vehicle-related queries, driver communications, servicing, MOTs, repairs, vehicle tax, insurance and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate vehicle and driver records, monitoring key dates and supporting the administration of fuel cards, Dart Charge, congestion charges and vehicle penalty notices.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for project teams when required, including flights, accommodation and associated travel costs.
What you'll have
- Relevant finance or business qualification preferred (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience/working towards a qualification.
- Previous experience in a finance or business administration role, ideally within construction, engineering or project-based environments.
- Strong experience across UK and EU finance, including invoicing, subcontractor payments, purchase orders, bank reconciliations, VAT compliance and multi-currency transactions.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis, with excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial controls and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing or supporting international labour posting and compliance requirements, particularly across the EMEA region, would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Xero and Excel, with confidence working across financial and administrative systems.
- Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant tax, VAT, employment, health & safety and compliance requirements across the UK and EMEA, with familiarity with platforms such as SafeContractor, CHAS and ConstructionOnline.

- Previous experience of using job management software though training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, proficiency in additional languages relevant to the EMEA region
- Flexible outlook within role, able to adapt to changes in tasks where necessary
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to take ownership and responsibility, with an enterprising work ethic
