Experienced / Time Served Fabricator Welder – Stainless & Mild Steel
Location: Radcliffe, Manchester
LA Fabrications Ltd is a well-established engineering and fabrication company specialising in the manufacture of high-quality stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium fabrications for customers across a wide range of industries.
Due to an increasing workload, we are looking to recruit an experienced, time-served Fabricator Welder to join our workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established company offering secure, long-term employment, varied work and an excellent working environment.

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
- Overtime available as workload requires
The Role
Working from engineering drawings, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of a wide range of bespoke projects, including:
- Stainless steel and mild steel pipework
- Process tanks and vessels
- Structural steelwork
- Platforms, staircases and access walkways
- Aluminium fabrications
- General bespoke fabrications
The role is predominantly workshop based in Radcliffe, with occasional site installation work.
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Be a skilled, time-served Fabricator Welder
- Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Have experience fabricating and welding stainless steel and mild steel
- Have experience of TIG and MIG welding (aluminium experience would be advantageous)
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Produce work to a consistently high standard
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Hold a full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in stainless steel process pipework
- Previous site installation experience
- Forklift, IPAF or CSCS cards
