HiQ Sheffield is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our friendly, professional team, located in Woodseats, Sheffield. We are a fast-growing family-owned business operating as part of a national chain of autocentres, offering competitive rates of pay, friendly working environment, with training and career development opportunities.
The successful candidate will ideally have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent experience) and be responsible for providing high quality vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, diagnostics and fast-fit tyre services. You will be performing both routine maintenance and repair work to a wide range of vehicles, using up-to-date tools and equipment, in our recently refurbished workshop. We expect our vehicle technicians to work to a high standard, in a safe and professional manner in accordance with H&S regulations and per our company policies / guidelines.
You will need to be a good communicator with excellent customer service skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a busy workshop team. Salary is negotiable (subject to qualifications and experience). Hours: Average 44.5 hours per week (8.30-5.30 Mon to Fri and 8.30-12:30 Sat on rotation basis).
