PMA Services Ltd delivers refurbishment and maintenance projects within secure environments across the UK.
We're looking to build a network of reliable subcontractors who would like to become approved for our secure projects. We are currently interested in experienced:
- Plumbers
- Electricians
- Joiners & Carpenters
- Dry Liners
- Plasterers
- Painters & Decorators
- Handymen / Multi-Trades
- General Builders
- Experienced Labourers
Why join our approved labour pool?
Once approved, you'll be considered for work across our live projects throughout the UK.
Our work varies from:
- Short-term projects lasting a few days
- Longer contracts lasting several weeks or months
Many projects also offer:
- Competitive rates of pay
- Weekly subcontractor payments
- UK-wide work opportunities
- Accommodation (where applicable)
- Mileage and subsistence allowances on qualifying projects
Security Clearance
Many of our projects require EL1 (Enhanced Level 1) Security Clearance and/or VIVO Clearance.
If you don't already hold the required clearance, we'll guide you through the application process at no cost to you.
The clearance process involves completing an online application and providing identification and supporting documentation. It can take several weeks, sometimes a few months, to complete, so we're looking for applicants who are happy to complete the process promptly and respond to requests for information.
Once obtained, this clearance can provide access to a wider range of secure projects, increasing your opportunities for future work.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for reliable tradespeople who:
- Have experience in their trade
- Can work professionally in secure environments
- Are willing to complete the required vetting process
- Regularly check their emails and can respond promptly throughout the clearance process
- Are looking for ongoing subcontract opportunities

Successful applicants will become part of PMA Services Ltd's approved subcontractor network and will be contacted when suitable projects become available. While we cannot guarantee immediate work, joining our approved network means you'll be considered for future opportunities as they arise across the UK.
