Full-Time Pub Supervisor
Camden High Street, London45 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced Pub Supervisor to join our busy, established pub on Camden High Street.
We are a high-volume pub serving food and drinks, showing a wide range of live sport and football, with a beer garden and an additional small function/event space upstairs.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is confident running busy shifts, managing staff and maintaining high standards of service.
The Role
As Pub Supervisor, you will be responsible for helping to manage the day-to-day running of the pub and ensuring shifts operate smoothly.
Your duties will include:
- Supervising and motivating bar and floor staff
- Running busy shifts, particularly during major football and sporting events
- Providing excellent customer service
- Managing large crowds and maintaining an organised and safe environment
- Opening and closing the pub
- Cashing up and completing end-of-shift procedures
- Ensuring licensing conditions are followed
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Supporting the food operation and working closely with the kitchen
- Monitoring stock levels and reducing wastage
- Dealing professionally with customer issues and complaints
- Supporting management with staff training and day-to-day operations
- Helping manage the beer garden and upstairs function/event space
- Ensuring health & safety and licensing procedures are followed at all times
Essential Requirements
- Previous pub/bar supervisory or management experience
- Personal Licence holder – essential
- Experience working in a busy, high-volume licensed venue
- Confident managing busy football and sporting events
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to remain calm and organised under pressure
- Reliable, professional and hands-on
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends and late nights
- Good understanding of licensing, responsible alcohol service and customer safety
Hours
Full-time – 45 hours per week
The role will include evenings, weekends and major sporting events.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor who enjoys working in a busy, lively Camden pub with a strong sports and food trade.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
