Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle transactions efficiently at the counter or via the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly.
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, cups, and condiments to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers politely and addressing any special requests or dietary requirements.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as required, including cash handling and cleaning procedures.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn about different beverages and customer service standards.
- Previous experience in hospitality or retail is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude is most important.

Please note, this is a Summer role. There may be opportunity to move into another department in another site over winter but we don't currently have plans to keep this operation open over winter.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
