As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be part of the team responsible for our fleet of vehicles, welfare units and accommodation trailers to ensure they are serviced and kept ready to hire at all times.
Fleet Mechanic, role includes but not limited to:
- Maintaining and servicing the fleet of 3.5 ton vehicles
- Operating and maintaining plant and equipment
- Finding and fixing faults in plant and equipment
- Assessing and testing plant and equipment
- Environmental, health and safety law, regulations and standards
- Interpreting technical specifications and documents
- Other duties as required
You're a great fit if you:
- Experience Required as a Fully Qualified Mechanic or time-served
- Worked previously with plant equipment, including generators
- Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Can work independently and take initiative on assigned tasks.
- Enjoy collaborating and communicating effectively with colleagues.
Experience and Qualifications :
- Full Drivers Licence
- Technical Qualification preferred (NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent)
- Experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with welfare units or similar specialised equipment (Preferred)
