Are you an experienced PMO professional who enjoys bringing structure, insight and clarity to complex projects, while working collaboratively with stakeholders and teams?
As a Senior PMO Analyst with NHS Shared Business Services, you’ll play a key role in supporting projects and programmes to deliver successfully. You’ll work as part of a collaborative and supportive team, helping to ensure strong governance, effective reporting, and high-quality outputs across a range of initiatives. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be in our Leeds office 3 days per week, giving you the best of both in-person collaboration and flexibility.
What you'll be doing:

Supporting project planning, reporting, and governance to ensure delivery aligns with agreed standards and processes.

Managing risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID), ensuring visibility and consistency across project teams.

Analysing project data to identify trends, provide insights, and support informed decision-making.

Producing high-quality reports and dashboards to communicate performance and progress to stakeholders.

Supporting change control processes and helping embed improvements to ways of working across teams.

Building strong stakeholder relationships and supporting communications, workshops and knowledge sharing activities.
What you’ll bring:

Experience of working in a PMO or project support role, delivering within medium complexity environments.

Strong understanding of project controls including financials, scheduling, risk and governance.

Experience using project management tools and methodologies within waterfall, agile or blended environments.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights.

Advanced capability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to work collaboratively, manage priorities and maintain high-quality outputs under pressure.
It would be great if you had:

Experience working across different client environments or sectors.

Knowledge of PMO frameworks, tools or systems such as iQ, PM3 or SAFe.

Experience supporting business change activities and assessing change readiness.

Understanding of quality assurance processes within project delivery.
