Football Focused 1-2-1 is one of Scotland's fastest-growing football coaching organisations, delivering high-quality coaching programmes to players of all ages and abilities across Glasgow. Our mission is to provide a professional, enjoyable and player-centred environment where every individual has the opportunity to develop both on and off the pitch.
We deliver a wide range of programmes including 1-2-1 coaching, small group sessions, academy training, holiday camps, girls' development programmes, school partnerships and grassroots club coaching. Our sessions are built around modern coaching methods that focus on technical development, game understanding, confidence, decision-making and a genuine love for the game.

Experience & QualificationsEssential
- A genuine passion for football coaching and developing young players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, professional and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a coaching team.
- Willingness to learn, develop and embrace the Football Focused 1-2-1 coaching philosophy.
- Commitment to safeguarding and creating a positive environment for all players.
Qualifications
- UEFA C Licence (Scottish FA/FA) or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
- Candidates with no formal coaching qualifications are encouraged to apply, provided they have a genuine passion for coaching and are willing to work towards gaining their coaching badges. Football Focused 1-2-1 is committed to supporting coaches in their development and progression.
- PVG Scheme Membership (or willingness to obtain).
- Emergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Safeguarding/Child Wellbeing certification (or willingness to complete).
ExperienceDesirable
- Previous experience coaching football in any setting, including clubs, schools, academies or community programmes.
- Playing experience at any level, particularly academy, amateur, semi-professional or professional football, would be beneficial.
- Experience working with children or young people in sport, education or other leadership roles.
- Experience delivering 1-2-1, small group or team coaching sessions.
- Experience coaching girls' football is advantageous but not essential.
