ECHO Personnel is looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative for Loading and Unloading to join our client's team in Irthlingborough.
The client is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of cleaning and household products, with a busy warehouse and distribution operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers
- Moving and stacking materials safely in the warehouse
- Checking deliveries and shipments against paperwork
- Recording stock movements and keeping the warehouse organised
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Carrying out basic checks on handling equipment
- Supporting the warehouse team with general duties
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, loading/unloading or logistics experience is preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Reliable, hardworking and a good team player
- Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
- Forklift experience is an advantage
Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
