Job Description
- To help care for the residents in their day to day activities both inside and outside of the Home through high standards of professional practice. To ensure we meet the personal care needs of the residents in a way that promotes their dignity, privacy, safety and independence.
- To use resources effectively in providing the care. You will be responsible for supervising, coaching and mentor of up to 6 care assistants (on any particular shift,) to a high standard; * medication administration ( Full training will be given) * checking in medical appointments for residents * liaising with outside medical professionals.·
- Answer call bells, telephones, doorbell etc. promptly and courteously.
- Participate in all staff meetings and in staff training and development.
- Maintain the security and confidentially of records relating to the service the home provides.
- Ensure that you adhere to and report Health and Safety issues.
- Ensure all requirements for the record keeping and Health and Safety issues are monitored and up to date and that security and confidentiality for these are maintained
