What will the Accounts & Administration Assistant role involve?
- Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records within the finance system.
- Completing bank reconciliations and assisting with day-to-day financial administration.
- Managing employee expense claims and supporting purchase order processes.
- Providing administrative support to various departments and project teams across the business.
- Maintaining databases and ensuring company records remain accurate and up to date.
- Assisting with onboarding activities for new employees, including arranging equipment and administrative setup.
- Preparing reports, documentation and correspondence as required.
- Handling incoming telephone calls and general office enquiries.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business processes and efficiencies.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts & Administration Assistant vacancy:
- Previous experience within an accounts, finance administration or office support role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using accounting software; previous Xero exposure would be advantageous.
- AAT studies or an interest in developing a finance qualification would be beneficial.
