The Role
You’ll take ownership of all aspects of practice management, including:
- Leading the team and creating a positive, high-performing culture
- Managing HR processes, recruitment, and staff development
- Ensuring full compliance and regulatory standards are met
- Driving KPIs and overall business performance
- Supporting reception with efficient diary management and patient journey
- Actively working on reception on dedicated days to understand day-to-day operations, patient flow, and diary management
- Identifying areas for improvement within front-of-house processes and implementing effective systems and workflows alongside the existing team
- Working closely with the owner to identify and implement growth opportunities
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, vision, and strong leadership:
Essential Criteria
- GDC registered Dental Nurse or experienced Dental Practice Manager
- (Registered with the General Dental Council where applicable)
- Previous experience in dental management or senior supervisory role
- Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g. CQC standards)
- Experience managing HR processes, including recruitment and team developmentExcellent communication, management and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for team development and delivering excellent patient care
- Ability to monitor and drive KPIs and business performance
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a positive attitude
- Willingness to work hands-on within reception to understand workflows and implement improvements
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using Dentally or similar systems
- Experience within a mixed or private-focused dental practice
- Knowledge of business development and growth strategies
- Experience implementing systems, processes, or operational improvements
- Leadership or management qualifications
