We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to support the daily operations of our Bar and Kitchen. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high standards across all departments. - Operational Efficiency: Implement and maintain operational efficiencies in line with the Operations Team’s strategy to ensure the venue runs smoothly and profitably.
- Venue Oversight: Act as a key holder and take full operational responsibility for the venue, ensuring the site is secure, compliant, and well-maintained at all times.
- Compliance: Ensure all licensing policies and procedures are followed, acting as a point of contact for licensing officers, police, and emergency services where required.
- Floor Leadership: Lead from the floor during peak trading periods, actively managing service flow, customer experience, and team performance in real time.
- Service Standards & Environment: Maintain consistently high standards across the venue, ensuring a strong atmosphere and excellent guest experience at all times
- Kitchen: Ensure food quality, consistency, and speed of service meet expected standards.
- Safety Protocols: Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed, including regular risk assessments and compliance checks.
- Complaint Handling: Take ownership of customer feedback and complaints, resolving issues efficiently while protecting the reputation of the business
- Deep Cleans & Maintenance: Plan and oversee deep cleans and ongoing maintenance to ensure the venue and equipment remains in top condition.
- Revenue Delivery: Support and deliver weekly revenue targets, maximising sales opportunities across all trading periods.
- Reporting: Ensure accurate daily (EON) and weekly reporting, including revenue performance, labour costs, and key operational metrics.
- Commercial Commentary: Provide clear daily feedback on performance vs forecast, highlighting key drivers and issues.
- End of Day Control: Take ownership of end-of-day procedures during shifts, including cashing up and reporting.
- Stock Control: Support stock ordering, stocktakes, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Motivation & Retention: Drive team engagement and morale through strong leadership and communication.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all team members follow company policies and procedures at all times.
As Venue Manager, you are expected to be proactive, commercially aware, and operationally strong. This is a hands-on role that requires leadership from the front, attention to detail, and the ability to balance service, team management, and financial performance.
Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
