Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings to produce custom, high quality products
- Cut, shape and finish timber components to specifications
- Ensure all assembled items meet high standards, including sanding and finishing work for painting or varnishing
- Perform heavy lifting of materials safely to support construction activities
- Conduct construction painting where required to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Support plumbing, masonry, and electrical teams as needed on-site
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to adhere to health and safety regulations
- Demonstrate a good understanding of joinery materials including past experience working with laminates, veneers and solids
Requirements
- Proven experience in assembly, carpentry, and joinery work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures within production environments
- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
