Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to provide cleaning cover for 2 weeks at one of our sites in Alperton.
Start Date: Monday 17th August 2026
End Date: Friday 28th August 2026
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8.00am - 4.00pm
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across a large residential block close to Alperton station -you will be required to clean the communal space - working alongside the cleaning supervisor on site.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, small kitchen, and communal areas to high standards
- Out bins out and bring back in on bin day
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to meet their specific cleaning requirements
- Ensure all areas are kept organised and presentable throughout the shift
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is desirable
- Good communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Customer service skills are beneficial, particularly when engaging with clients or visitors
