EXCITING OPPORTUNITY

We require 4 technicans for a new VMU workshop based in Maidstone which will be come under the Renault Trucks dealership in Faversham, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician to join our thriving business.

Main Duties:
Shifts: - 40 hour week

Pay is c £21 pr hr
Day shift of 07.00 to 16.00 Monday to Friday with rotating Saturday's paid at time and a half

Responsibilities summary:

Ensure your work is carried out as efficiently as possible and you are following the Service Process Maps
Ensure you are fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up-front job specificationsProvide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutionsEnsure time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes as per productivity polic:
Knowledge and Skills:
Significant experience of working as a HGV Technician within the Commercial vehicle industry
Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual.The application of Standard TimesAn appreciation of our customers, the environment in which they operate and the direct impact we can have on their businessTechnical product knowledge
Required Competences
City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology HGV / LCV
To be able to work in an organised & methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completedTo be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcomeTo be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutionsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
